Ruchi Gali is a profoundly motivated high school student with an ambition to make a difference in the world. As a rising 12th grader at Imagine International Academy of North Texas, she is always looking to create projects that have a meaningful impact. At the core of her work is a deep passion for learning and connecting with people. Her dedication has earned her local and international recognition, including the IB Global Youth Action Fund Grant, Global Young Leader Award through the Dallas World Affairs Council, and as a YMCA Youth Changemaker 2024. Colorism is one of many topics that she is passionate about, and her personal experience with the issue inspired her photo essay 'Visualizing Colorism,' advocating against skin color bias in young women. She continues to work on multiple research and advocacy projects on colorism to erase the harmful stereotypes she sees in her community. As an ardent admirer of change, her life motto is to embrace chaos, seeing it as a catalyst for growth and opportunity
